GDP leader inspects troops on duty ahead ceremony marking 50th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day
PANO - On March 14, a delegation from the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, inspected and encouraged troops at Military Region 7 and Army Corps 34, training for the parade marking the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025).
Military Region 7, tasked by the Ministry of National Defense, has seven parade formations including four standing formations and three marching formations, among others.
Meanwhile, Army Corps 34 is tasked with six formations with two standing and four marching formations.

Over the past time, the units have raised strong determination during training with the Party and political work ensured.
After inspecting the forces, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To praised the troops’ efforts in overcoming difficulties to ensure training as regulated.
Lieutenant General Truong Thien To stressed that the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day is a big political event, so participating in the parade is a great honor for the officers and soldiers.
