Former defense minister visits Dong Nai city Border Guard Command
PANO - On May 4, General Pham Van Tra, former Defense Minister, attended a get-together on the occasion of the 51st traditional day of the Dong Nai city Border Guard (June 4, 1975 - 2026).
At the meeting, after watching a documentary on General Pham Van Tra’s life and career, officers and soldiers heard the general share his extensive combat experiences. He emphasized that the most significant lesson in safeguarding national border sovereignty and security is building trust among troops and effectively carrying out mass mobilization. This approach helps consolidate a solid “people’s heart posture,” working alongside the Border Guard force to firmly protect the nation’s sovereignty.
