On the occasion, General Nam expressed his respect and gratitude to the former Party and military leaders for their contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party, nation and military during wartime as well as peacetime.

Recalling their revolutionary careers, General Nam hoped that their families would promote the heroic traditions and educate young generations to make further contribution to the development of the country and military.
