Deputy Chief of General Staff inspects recruit training
PANO – Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Minh, inspected the recruitment, reception and training of new enlistees at Brigade 144 and the Military Ceremonial Unit on March 6.
The two units have embraced directions and instructions of the General Staff on recruitment of new soldiers. Before receiving the recruits, the two units made all preparation both in terms of personnel and facilities so as to ensure the quality of the new training season.

In 2019, Brigade 144 and the Military Ceremonial Unit are assigned to training 1,400 new soldiers. After receiving the troops, the two units have allocated them to training companies and conducted health re-screening. They also paid special attention to introducing units’ traditions to the new troops, strengthening their confidence to best fulfill assigned missions.
Addressing the inspection sessions, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Minh hailed the achievements of the two units gained during the enlistment drive and the start of the training season. He asked the two units to continue implementing well their missions in the coming time.
