In particular, the Vietnamese personnel of Level-two Field Hospital (L2FH) Rotation 2 have quickly implemented comprehensive measures to prevent the disease from spreading into the unit. They also received and successfully treated a suspected case of COVID-19 and presented medical face masks to local people. These activities were highly appreciated by the U.N. peacekeeping missions' commanders and international friends.

General Lich stressed that these accomplishments of the Vietnamese officers demonstrate the spirit of creativity and uphold the synergy of all forces to combat the pandemic, thus deserving the title 'Uncle Ho's Soldiers.'

General Lich also hoped that in the coming time, the forces will continue to coordinate with relevant U.N. agencies, local authorities and people to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.
