The meeting took place via an online format, connecting nine districts, cities, and towns as well as 172 communes and townlets across the province, with the participation of over 6,000 voters.
At the meeting, the delegation of Thai Nguyen N.A. deputies briefed voters on the results of its activities and information related to the contents of the third session of the 15th N.A.
Representatives of Thai Nguyen voters voiced their opinions at the meeting, focusing on issues in the local education system, shortcomings of mineral management, exploitation and usage, policies for teachers and medical staff in remote and extremely-difficult areas, investment policies for new rural construction and traffic projects in some localities, suggestions to increase salary for commune-level civil servants, and so on.
Based on the opinions of the voters, representatives of the Thai Nguyen provincial People’s Committee answered and clarified each content and explained relevant matters.

Addressing the event, General Phan Van Giang informed the voters about important contents of the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee (May 4-10), briefed on the world and national situations, as well as the outcomes of military and defense missions in 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.
Along with military and defense missions, the Ministry of National Defense has promoted the progress of personnel organization, regularity building, observance of discipline and laws, as well as military administration reform.
General Giang added that the Vietnam People’s Army has conducted various activities to support local people in natural disaster prevention and mobilized different forces to participate in SEA Games 31, etc.

Also, the general required Thai Nguyen province to concentrate on implementing the Resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress, the Party Central Committee and the province, measures for socio-economic recovery, as well as promptly solving difficulties to prevent issues related to security and order.
The province’s government should effectively implement social welfare policies and pay more attention to taking care of national contributors and policy beneficiaries. Meanwhile, the province should maintain COVID-19 prevention and control regulations, boost digital transformation and administration reform, as well as combine defense-security consolidation with socio-economic development.
On the sidelines of the meeting with Thai Nguyen voters, General Phan Van Giang and the delegation of Thai Nguyen N.A. deputies visited and presented gifts to Thai Nguyen Central General Hospital and serious patients treated at ICU, and planted trees on the campus of the hospital.
