On behalf of the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense (MND)’s leaders, General Phan Van Giang congratulated General Nguyen Tan Cuong on being honored with the 40-year Party membership badge. General Giang emphasized that over the past 40 years as a Party member, General Nguyen Tan Cuong has always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. In any circumstances, he has adhered to discipline, maintained principles, and worked decisively, carefully, objectively, and impartially.

With sincerity and high responsibility, General Cuong has devoted himself to mentoring and passing on leadership, command, and management knowledge to his subordinates. He has consistently demonstrated the qualities of a loyal communist, a military general, and a devoted Party member. His commitment to Marxism-Leninism, President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, national independence, and socialism has guided his unwavering devotion to the revolutionary cause. He has made great contribution to the revolutionary cause of the Party, nation and the development of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army.
In particular, as a member of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the CMC, Chief of the General Staff, and Deputy Minister of National Defense, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, with his rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience, has worked with the CMC and the leadership of the MND and the General Staff to ensure unity and cohesion and the fulfilment of advisory role to the Party and State on military and defense policies. He has also contributed to strengthening national defense and the armed forces and building the politically-, ideologically-, and organizationally-strong Military Party Organization, contributing to enhancing combat power and safeguarding the socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The 40-year Party membership badge showed the Party's, State's, and MND's recognition of his significant contribution to the Party's building efforts and the VPA's growth.

Deeply moved and proud to receive the badge, General Nguyen Tan Cuong expressed his deep gratitude and unwavering trust in the glorious Party and the great Uncle Ho. He pledged to continue dedicating his strength and wisdom to the revolutionary cause; strictly adhering to Party guidelines, laws, and regulations; preserving revolutionary ethics; and continuously learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style.
