On behalf of the unit’s Party committee and chain-of-command, its Commanding Officer Senior Colonel Do Trung Dung, briefed the Chief of the General Staff on its task performance over the past year. Accordingly, the division has fulfilled all assigned tasks such as combat readiness, training, live-fire exercise, mass mobilization, and so on.
The division’s leaders have deployed numerous measures to ensure physical and spiritual life for troops during the Tet festival while presenting gifts, worth VND hundreds of million in total, to needy servicemen.
Talking to the division’s leadership, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong acknowledged the unit’s achievements over the past year. He reaffirmed that the whole military completed assigned tasks in all aspects, especially in training, combat readiness, search and rescue, mass mobilization, and defense external affairs. These results were partly contributed by troops of Division 312 and Army Corps 1.

He urged the unit’s leadership to continue embracing higher levels’ instructions and resolutions, maintaining combat readiness, dealing with unexpected issues in any circumstances. The defense leader also required the unit to enhance capability for troops at all levels, renew all training contents, prepare to welcome new recruits and launch new-year training programs, and more.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong noted that the unit should ensure adequate on-duty forces and logistic supply for them during the Tet festival, collaborate with local authorities and units to handle all situations. He wished troops of Division 312 good health, solidarity, absolute safety and mission accomplishment.
On the occasion, the deputy defense minister offered flowers to heroic martyrs at the memorial house of Division 312.
