Coast Guard Region 4 holds democratic dialogue with officers and soldiers
PANO - On June 12, in Phu Quoc special zone of An Giang province, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command held its second-quarter democratic dialogue in 2026 between the unit’s leaders and its officers and soldiers. Major General Dao Ba Viet, Commander of Coast Guard Region 4, attended the event.
The dialogue comprehensively covered all aspects of the unit’s operations. Discussions focused on grasping and implementing assigned missions, educating and building political stance, a sense of responsibility, and determination among officers and soldiers, evaluating the results of political tasks, and building a comprehensively strong, “exemplary and typical” unit.

Participants also addressed the building of a pure and strong Party organization, the development of mass organizations and military personnel councils, the consolidation of civil-military solidarity, among others.
In his remarks, Major General Dao Ba Viet highly valued the unit’s outstanding outcomes in the second quarter of 2026. He emphasized that regular democratic dialogues are crucial in promoting the democratic rights and responsibility of officers and soldiers in contributing to the unit’s development.

Through these dialogues, Party committees and commanders at all levels can listen to the thoughts and needs of the troops, and promptly resolve difficulties and emerging issues at grassroots level. This fosters high consensus and unity in both awareness and action, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit capable of successfully accomplishing all assigned missions.
