During this competition, athletes competed in various events, such as tennis, table-tennis, armed swimming, and strong soldiers (100m dash, long jump, pull-up workout, 100m free-style swimming, and 3,000m military dash).

This was an occasion for the region’s chains-of-command to evaluate troops’ health, training, sports emulation, as well as command and control capability of the unit’s leaders, thereby raising the quality of this task in the coming time.

Results at the competition will serve as the foundation for the region to further promote fitness movement for officers and soldiers in the coming time.

In his speech, Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Khanh, Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command, hailed the efforts of the organizing panel’s members, juries, and athletes in well preparing for and joining the competition.

At the same time, he requested collectives and individuals in the region to raise their awareness and responsibility of physical training, contributing to enhancing their cultural and spiritual life, so as to fulfill all assigned missions.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing panel handed over prizes to 12 athletes with the highest records in the competition.
