* When visiting the Vietnam Veterans' Association Central Committee, General Cuong thanked the association for its sentiment and responsibility before the Party, the State and the military. He affirmed that the veterans are outstanding examples for generations to follow.

The deputy defense minister wished members of the association good health and happiness ahead of the upcoming Tet festival.

* When visiting the Government Cipher Board, the chief of the General Staff expressed his delight at seeing the achievements of the unit’s staff over the past time. He hoped that the board will continue promoting its results and exerting all-out efforts to fulfill its assigned missions.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, General Cuong presented gifts to staff of the board and wished them a prosperous and happy Tet.
