The deputy defense minister required the units to strictly implement combat readiness regulations during Tet holiday, focusing on patrol, guard duty, fire prevention, and more. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of ensuring proper policies and care for military personnel and their families, ensuring that they have a joyful and meaningful Tet celebrations. After the holiday, the units must immediately resume their tasks with high determination.

On the occasion of the Tet festival, General Luong wished the troops and their families good health and happiness and expected that they would uphold the exemplary qualities of the "Uncle Ho's Soldiers.” He encouraged the soldiers to strive to overcome all challenges, improve the quality of their work, and complete their missions excellently, building strong and exemplary units.
The same day, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh and Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat chaired a conference to review the coordination between the two ministries over the past time and roll out orientations and key missions for 2025.

The two ministries also plan to intensify international cooperation, technology transfer, and the development and manufacture of essential military weapons and equipment to enhance the military's self-reliance, contributing to the nation’s defense and security efforts.
