For the Lao part, leaders of the Salavan provincial Military Command thanked the Vietnamese side for its visit and New Year greetings, emphasizing that this activity reflected the deep solidarity between the two commands.

Health check-ups offered to Lao ethnic people in Nonsamlan village

On this occasion, the Da Nang municipal Military Command provided VND 1.5 billion to assist the Salavan counterpart in constructing infrastructure facilities, gave 60 gift packages to disadvantaged families and offered health check-ups and medicines to local people in Nonsamlan village, Khongxedone district, with a total value of over VND 1.8 billion.

The two units also inspected friendship infrastructure projects that were built in 2024 and earlier. These were practical activities to support Laos, contributing to the joint efforts of the two countries in building and developing prosperous countries and consolidating the defense-security posture between the two countries in the new period.
