Vietnamese MND extends greetings to Lao Embassy on Bunpimay festival

On behalf of the Vietnamese MND, Gen. Chien sent congratulations to all staff of the Embassy on the great day of the Lao people.

He highlighted the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries across various fields, especially the bilateral defense ties - one of the key pillars in the Vietnam-Laos relations.

Gen. Chien hoped that Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Khamphao Ernthavanh would continue to positively contribute to and support the development of the two countries’s relations in general and the bilateral defense cooperation in particular.

For her part, Ambassador Khamphao Ernthavanh thanked the Vietnamese delegation for the visit on this special occasion. She affirmed that the Laos-Vietnam relationship is special, exemplary and rare in the world, and highly praised the two defense ministries’ close cooperation over the past time, significantly contributing to fostering the bilateral relations.

The Lao diplomat stated that the effective performance of the Lao Embassy’s personnel in Vietnam is all thanks to the great support and facilitation by the Vietnamese MND.
