Leaders of Quang Ngai Province and the Attapeu Provincial Military Command sign a cooperation agreement on the search and collection of martyrs’ remains for the 2025-2026 dry season.

At the event, Y Ngoc congratulated the Party Committee and people of Attapeu on the successful organization of the 12th Provincial Party Congress. She expressed her belief that under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Attapeu Province will continue to achieve greater accomplishments, contributing significantly to strengthening the special friendship between the two nations.

She informed the host about the recent administrative merger and affirmed that Quang Ngai Province will fully inherit and continue the long-standing, profound, and good cooperation once established between former Kon Tum Province and Attapeu Province as a natural continuation of the close-knit bond and solidarity between the two localities.

She expressed wishes that the great friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, and the cooperative ties between Quang Ngai and Attapeu Provinces, will increasingly develop and remain forever green and  sustainable.

During the 2024-2025 dry season, Attapeu’s Special Task Committee and Quang Ngai’s Search and Collection K53 Team surveyed, searched for, and collected 12 sets of remains of Vietnamese martyrs.

For the 2025-2026 dry season, the Steering Committee 515 of Quang Ngai Province hopes to continue receiving the attention and support of the Party Committee, authorities, and the Special Task Committee of Attapeu Province to improve the effectiveness of the search and collection of martyrs’ remains.
