According to Senior Colonel Vu Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Quang Ninh provincial Border Guard Command, the project will be a two-story facility with a total floor area of 2,450 square meters, comprising 32 rooms and fully equipped functional areas. It holds special significance in improving the quality of healthcare services for officials, the armed forces, and people in the locality.

With a total estimated investment of VND 52 billion funded by the Ministry of National Defense, Col. Hung affirmed that the project The project will be implemented in line with quality requirements and national standards, with the aim of being put into operation as soon as possible to serve healthcare needs for people in the border area of Hai Son commune, Quang Ninh province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Le Van Cuong, Chairman of the Hai Son commune People’s Committee, stated that the project also helps strengthen people’s trust and tighten civil-military solidarity in border areas. He also emphasized that the locality will continue to promote solidarity and friendship, contributing to building a peaceful, stable, cooperative, and sustainably developing Vietnam-China border.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Hai Son commune Friendship Medical Station is one of the highlights of the 10th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange, affirming the practical significance of the program, which has become a key feature in defense cooperation between the two countries.
