During the event, both sides agreed that by 2025, they should focus on promoting the building of programs and action plans, and implementation of the strategy for the development of the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center to 2035; investing in facilities associated with the development of organizational structure and human resources in the new period; and speeding up the transfer and completion of the dossier on research vessel "Professor Gagarinskiy" before June 30, 2025.

Meanwhile, the two sides will coordinate in developing scientific research topics associated with the use of the vessel and building a roadmap and plan on technology transfer within the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center framework, as well as continue to invest in and supplement equipment for the biosafety level 3 laboratory, with the aim of putting it into operation by 2025.

Concluding the meeting, heads of the two sides signed cooperation documents, including the minutes of the 35th meeting; the scientific research and application program for the 2025-2029 period and the scientific and technological research plan in 2025 of the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center; the Letter of Intent between the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the Ministry of Science and Technology and the University of the Russian Federation on technology transfer within the framework of the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center.
