At the reception, General Duc held that the visit to Vietnam by the LPA’s Military Art Troupe is one of major activities in celebration of the 77th National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - 2022), the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2022, 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries (September 5, 1962 - 2022), and 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (July 18, 1977 - 2022).
General Duc underlined that, under the bilateral special relations, the two defense ministries have been rolling out a number of joint practical projects in all fields.
Regarding the Party and political work in general and the artistic programs in particular, the Vietnamese GDP's Department of Information and Education always attaches due importance to fostering cooperation with the Lao counterpart on popularizing the traditional relationship between the two parties, states, and militaries.
Over the past time, the two sides have actively exchanged delegations at all levels, disseminated awarded works at a literature and art composing movement “The solidarity in combating shared enemies between Vietnam and Laos,” surveyed and submitted dossiers to recognize relics on Road 559 (or Ho Chi Minh Trail) in Laos, and organized photo exhibitions on the Vietnam-Laos special combat alliance, to name but a few.
The host also stressed that in the coming time, both sides would run more activities to beef up the cooperation between the two departments.
Reportedly, during the visit to Vietnam, the LPA’s Military Art Troupe will hold several performances in different localities. General Duc believed that via this meaningful program, the troupe’s members will learn more about culture and daily life of Vietnamese troops as well as sentiments of Vietnamese people towards Laos.
For his part, Colonel Keosouvane Phangphilavong expressed his thanks to General Duc for his warm reception and highly appreciated the practical cooperation results between the two Departments of Information and Education so far.

Among them, the Lao officer emphasized that the two sides have closely worked together and deployed all projects agreed by their leaders, especially in delegation exchanges, Party and political work, and personnel training.
On this occasion, Colonel Keosouvane Phangphilavong hoped that organs of the two Departments of Information and Education would further promote joint cooperation contents in this year while actively and proactively exchanging cooperation agreements in the time to come, making contribution to heightening the special solidarity between the two countries and the two militaries as well.
