Frigate 012 - Ly Thai To reaching Cam Ranh International Port

Congratulating the delegation on their mission fulfillment and their great efforts, Senior Captain Nguyen Thien Quan highlighted their guarantee of absolute safety for personnel and equipment during the exercise and the 3,000 nautical mile voyage.

Reporting on the task performance, Ngan said that the delegation participated in and excellently completed all contents of the exercise. Their performance received high appreciation from representatives of participating navies.

After the six-day voyage, crossing more than 1,500 nautical miles and working intensively in bad weather conditions, the delegation arrived home as planned. During the trip, the crew-members maintained guard duties and actively dealt with arising situations while upholding smooth communication with the headquarters of Naval Region 4 and the Naval Service at home.

Ngan also reported that the crew-members of Frigate of 012 - Ly Thai To of Brigade 162 under Naval Region 4 completed the long-day training session in combination with conducting patrols and keeping a close watch on situations at sea while ensuring stable operation of the vessel’s technical equipment, weapons, and machinery.

During the exercise, the delegation acquired more experience in organizing international events from the host Indonesia for future foreign relations events hosted by the Vietnam People’s Navy. 

After the welcoming ceremony, all crew-members received COVID-19 testing and they will be under a quarantine period as regulated by the Ministry of Health and the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of the Naval Service.
