Senior Colonel Liu Ning, Chief of Staff of Guangzhou Naval Base, hosted the welcoming ceremony for the Vietnamese delegation.

After a seven-day sea voyage under harsh weather conditions with high waves and strong winds, the VPN delegation aboard Sailing Vessel 286-Le Quy Don successfully completed their mission, arriving on schedule. Throughout the voyage, the delegation conducted training activities for naval cadets on board, ensuring absolute safety.

At the reception, Sr. Col. Liu Ning expressed his hope that the visit and exchange of the Vietnamese naval delegation would conclude successfully, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the friendship and cooperative relations between the two navies.

For his part, Sr. Col. Nguyen Dinh Giang thanked the Chinese side for the warm welcome, emphasizing that during their time in Guangzhou, the two navies would organize many exchange activities. He believed that with joint efforts from both sides, these events would be carried out successfully.

As planned, during the visit and exchange in China, the delegation will pay courtesy visits on the leadership of Guangzhou Naval Base; organize mutual ship visits between officers and sailors of both navies; engage in cultural and sports exchanges; and visit the relic site of the headquarters of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Youth League in Guangzhou city.
