Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Doan Xuan Buong thanked the local authorities, people, and the special working committees of the three Lao provinces for supporting the search and collection team of the Nghe An provincial Military Command in their task performance in Laos.

He also hoped that Xiengkhouang province’s special working committee would continue to create favorable conditions for the team to complete their assignments in the coming time.

For his part, Major General Khanthong Vongamkha, Deputy Head of the Special Working Committee of Xiengkhouang province, underlined that the local Party Committee, authorities and people in the province have been grateful for the great sacrifice and contribution of fallen Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors in Laos, affirming that the province will create the favorable conditions for the Nghe An provincial Military Command to conduct the search and collection of martyrs’ remains in Xiengkhouang.

Inspecting the search and collection team of the Nghe An provincial Military Command, Senior Colonel Doan Xuan Buong lauded the team for the outcomes in the first months of the 2023-2024 dry season. He required the team to heighten their determination and responsibility to overcome their difficulties and accomplish the mission. Meanwhile, they should boost mass mobilization work and keep a good relationship with the local authorities and people to build a beautiful image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the hearts of the Lao people.
