As many as 15 trainees were equipped with knowledge of defence-security situations in the region and the world, powerful countries’ defence-security strategies, anti-terrorism, international integration, solidarity among the Indochinese nations, Vietnam’s art of war, and how to carry out the military and political work.
Besides, they participated in field trips to some units of the Vietnam People’s Army and toured historical relics in Vietnam.
Notably, all trainees completed the course with good results.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Tien Trung, Director of the Academy of National Defence, believed that the Cambodian trainees would effectively apply what they learnt into their units’ reality and made efforts to boost the bilateral relations.
