During the meeting, a representative from the academy briefed the Lao guests on the school’s traditions, and the building, development, and contribution of the academy’s trade union. The host also shared experience in improving the efficiency of trade union activities.

According to Colonel Do Duc Tung, Deputy Head of the Political Department of the academy, the academy regularly embraces and concretizes higher levels’ resolutions and directives on trade union work, boosts the leadership and direction of all-level party committees, chains-of-command, and political agency while often strengthening the advisory, proposal-making, and organizational role of the Board of Public Affairs and Trade Union cadres. In addition, role models, effective deeds  are built and duplicated while review and lessons drawing are regularly implemented. Moreover, the academy’s Trade Union’s emulation movement has been launched with a close attachment to the academy’s “Determined-to-Win” emulation movement.

At the event, Lao cadres highly appreciated and expressed their deep impressions of the school’s Trade Union’s movements, models, creative and effective deeds, and outstanding achievements. They also shared their experience and talked about reality of the trade union work of the Lao People’s Army.
