At the reception, Senior Captain Bui Van Quy, Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation, gave a briefing on the company’s construction and development. He emphasized that over the past time, the corporation’s cadres and personnel have always exerted all-out efforts to excellently fulfill production, business, and external defense tasks, contributing to the national socio-economic development.

The company has actively participated in mass mobilization and charity activities in over 50 cities and provinces nationwide. It has taken care of more than 400 heroic Vietnamese mothers and relatives of martyrs in 18 provinces and cities, presented 200 gratitude houses, gave hundreds of scholarships to poor students, and presented on average of over VND 50 billion a year to “For the Poor” Funds of localities.

Col. Prin Yongpiyanon expressed his delight at the development of the corporation in economy and defense.

The head delegate hoped that in the coming time, Saigon Newport Corporation in general and Cam Ranh International Port in particular would continue to develop services of their strength such as seaport, logistics, supply services, and wharf repairs for military and civil ships.
