Vietnam always respects and ensures human rights and freedom of belief and religion: Deputy Spokesperson
PANO - Vietnam pursues a consistent policy of respecting and ensuring human rights and the freedom of religion and belief, said Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang at the ministry’s regular press briefing on December 15.
Deputy Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said the United States’ inclusion of Vietnam in its special watch list for alleged engagement in and tolerance of religious freedom violations was a decision based on an “unobjective assessment” and incorrect information.
