PANO - Eight Japanese and more than 40 Vietnamese businesses participated in a seminar on Vietnam-Japan Technical Exchange held on October 26th in Hanoi by the NC Network Vietnam Joint Stock Company and Japan’s Saitama Prefecture Production Promotion Organization.
The seminar was aimed at creating chances for the two countries’ businesses to exchange information relating to high-tech development, so that they could boost cooperation in electricity components, medical equipment, mechanical parts, and other metal products used for engines. As assessed by Japanese businesses, Vietnam is seen as an attractive destination for Japanese investors in the high-tech field because it is a big market with increasing purchasing power and a developing economy. Moreover, Japan is one of Vietnam’s biggest partners with investment capital of US$37.7 billion, and 2,661 projects and 1,500 businesses operating in Vietnam.
At the seminar, Japanese businesses introduced their operation and cooperation opportunities to the Vietnamese partners.
Addressing the seminar, the organizer’s representative stressed that besides seeking new partners, Vietnamese and Japanese businesses should build prestigious brand names to maintain long-term and stable cooperation.
