The Vietnam CEO Forum 2016 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on September 30, with more than 1,000 business people set to participate.

The HCM City Young Business Association recently held a press conference in the city on the event, according to Sai Gon Giai phong newspaper.

At the press conference

Themed “Linking Viet Strengths – Time to Walk the Talk?”, the forum aims to forge connectivity among CEOs as well as with their foreign partners.

Small-and medium-sized enterprises account for about 96 percent of Vietnamese businesses, but many lack competitive advantages.

CEOs require connections to increase competitiveness, explore new markets and participate in the global value chain.

In the context of international integration, CEOs need to have a deeper understanding of strategic linkages as well as more modern perspectives.
