PANO – Low-budget airline Jetstar Pacific and Industrial and Commercial Bank of Vietnam (Vietinbank) signed a contract worth USD 117 million for aircraft purchase on October 11.

The airline will buy more Airbus A320s (A320ceo) in a bid to improve the carrier's services and expand its domestic and international air routes.
This deal marks Jetstar Pacific’s first time cooperation with Vietinbank, as part of the carrier’s long-term investment and development plan.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Le Hong Ha, Chief Executive Officer of Jetstar Pacific, said that the deal would help the two sides boost their cooperation in the near future as well as reaffirm Jetstar Pacific's commitment to contribute to sustainable development in Vietnam and the region.
According to the set plan, the airline will receive 10 A320ceos from Airbus Corporation in 2017 and will have been operating a 30 A320ceo fleet by 2020.
