Viettel Deputy General Director Cao Anh Son and Petrolimex Deputy General Director Nguyen Ngoc Tu sign the cooperation agreement.

Under the agreement, the two sides agreed to focus cooperation on six strategic pillars. In digital infrastructure and smart operations, Viettel will share its experience in developing group-wide information technology and telecommunications infrastructure architecture; deploy Smart Petrol Station management solutions; and apply AI and IoT technologies in tank measurement, flow monitoring, and leak detection across Petrolimex’s retail stations, storage facilities, and pipeline systems. Viettel’s Cloud computing services will also be utilized to enhance cybersecurity and system availability.

In retail and digital customer services, the two sides will cooperate in deploying cashless payment solutions at Petrolimex fuel stations through ePass traffic accounts and Viettel Money and My Viettel platforms. They will also integrate CRM, ERP, and CDP systems, and automated customer care services.

In Big Data – AI, the two groups will share experience in organizing and managing data across enterprise-wide systems. Regarding cybersecurity and digital infrastructure protection, both sides will exchange solutions and develop security policies and standards suitable for large-scale enterprises.

Overview of the signing ceremony

In clean energy and new business models, the two sides will explore the deployment of renewable energy solutions, cooperate on the electrification roadmap for vehicle fleets, and install electric vehicle charging stations within Viettel’s ecosystem. In addition, the two groups will cooperate in developing petroleum and non-life insurance services while enhancing the exchange of experience in corporate governance.

The cooperation between Viettel and Petrolimex is expected to create substantial breakthroughs by closely connecting digital infrastructure with the national energy ecosystem, thereby better serving people, businesses, and Vietnam’s sustainable development.
