The Gia Lai provincial Confederation of Labor and Viettel Gia Lai present scholarships to children.

Accordingly, leaders of the Gia Lai provincial Confederation of Labor and Viettel Gia Lai inquired after and presented 20 scholarships, worth VND one million each, to children of disadvantaged workers in the province. All scholarships were sponsored by Viettel Group.

This activity was within the framework of the “Vietnamese workers with the aspiration to develop the country” dialogue between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and workers nationwide, which was held by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor via both online and in-person form.

At the event, Viettel Group handed over VND 2.5 billion to the Golden Heart Charitable Fund to support children of needy workers and children orphaned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Colonel Tran Van Thuan, Director of Viettel Gia Lai, the activity aimed to support the Government in repelling the pandemic, demonstrating the care and responsibility of Viettel for the community, contributing to the economic development of the country.

Along with giving scholarships, Viettel Gia Lai also conducted various social activities to support pandemic-hit people and students, especially implemented a program to hand over scholarships, valued at VND 1.4 billion in total, to needy students.
