With its strategic programs for major businesses, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individual customers, MB successfully fulfilled all set targets for 2018. In the year, it earned USD 1 billion in revenue and more than USD 330 million in profits, up by 56%. In the 2018 rankings, MB jumped one place domestically and 32 places in the Asia-Pacific compared to the previous year.
This year, MB will continue realizing its set targets focusing on developing digital banking, strengthening good connections with its customers, well managing risks, raising efficiency of its affiliates, and securing its place in the list of five effective and safe commercial banks in the country.
The long-term profitability from banks’ core business is one of the most important criteria used by the Asian Banker to select the best commercial banks with good financial and business performance in a year.
