Hanoi FC determined to win Viettel FC in season first match

Viettel beat Topenland Binh Dinh 2-0.

The second round of V.League 2022 will begin from March 1 with the important match between the two capital city teams Hanoi and Viettel. The match will begin at 7:15 a.m. on Hang Day Stadium. As many as 5,000 tickets have been sold to fans by the Viettel FC.

Previously, in the first round of V.League 2022, Viettel beated Topenland Binh Dinh 2-0 while the match between Hanoi FC and Dong A Thanh Hoa was postponed due to COVID-19. Therefore, Hanoi FC showed their determination to win their first match of the season against Viettel.

Speaking to the press on February 28, head coach Chun Jae Ho of Hanoi FC said that it is accidental that his first match as Hanoi FC’s head coach is against Viettel FC, the first Vietnamese team that he worked for. He has a very special feeling and a little pressure for this match. However, he is determined to strive his best to help Hanoi gain a victory. He held that Hanoi FC is the best team in Vietnam and believed in a good result of the match.

Viettel has many good players and Nguyen Manh goalkeeper is among them, the Korean coach added. Manh can lead the whole squad and become a firm shield in front the goal. Also, Hoang Duc and Tien Dung are smart players and good situation analysts, he concluded.

In the 2022 season, Hanoi sets goal to win the V.League champion and the National Football Cup while Viettel targets to be listed among the top three and compete for the V.League champion.
