Accordingly, the festival will be held from December 1 to 3 at Thong Nhat Park on Tran Nhan Tong street, Le Dai Hanh ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi. More than 80 booths featuring specialties of provinces and cities across the country will be introduced at the Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2023, promising to bring interesting experiences to local people and visitors.

According to Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Do Dinh Hong, the festival aims to preserve and uphold the traditional cultural and culinary values of the Hanoi capital, contributing to developing the brand name of Vietnamese culture, cuisine and tourism.
Through the festival, the organizers hope to popularize the image of Hanoi as a unique tourism, culture and food destination for visitors at home and abroad.

The festival is also an occasion for the capital and foreign embassies to strengthen people-to-people exchange programs, thereby enhancing mutual understanding, tightening solidarity, and promoting comprehensive cooperation between Vietnamese people in general and Hanoi residents in particular and international friends.
During the event, the area showcasing the cultural space of Hanoi’s famous handicraft villages will feature their typical dishes, including Me Tri village’s green rice flakes, Phu Thuong village’s sticky rice, So village’s cassava vermicelli, Bao Phuong traditional mooncakes, among others.
Meanwhile, there will be many other activities held at the festival, such as photo and painting exhibitions, folk games, culture and artistic exchanges, and culinary talk shows, to name but a few.
