Vietnamese language course opens in the Netherlands
The Embassy of Vietnam in Netherland has organized a course to teach Vietnamese language to overseas Vietnamese in the Netherlands.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on October 15, Vietnamese Ambassador to Netherland Ngo Thi Hoa said thanks to the support from the State Commission on Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, the Embassy has organized the course, the first of its kind in the Netherlands to help Vietnamese expats learn their native language.
Hoa expressed her hope that the course will provide students with fundamental knowledge of Vietnamese language, history and culture.
Pham Van Dinh, a representative of the Vietnamese community in the Netherlands said families will work with the Embassy to teach their children Vietnamese.
The course will teach 10 students aged between six and 16 in the 2017 – 2018 school year. It is expected to help them read, write and communicate in Vietnamese language.
Embassy staff and Vietnamese students in the Netherlands will take part in the course.
