PANO - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced 10 outstanding culture, sports and tourism events in 2024. Among them are the approval of the revised Law on Cultural Heritage and celebrations of the 70th Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Vietnam has two more heritage elements recognized by UNESCO: The nine tripod cauldrons, housed in the Hue Imperial Citadel in the Central province of Thua Thien Hue, inscribed in the Memory of the World Register in the Asia-Pacific region and the festival of Ba Chua Xu (Holy Mother of the Realm) at Sam Mountain inscribed on the UNESCO's Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
