PANO – The People’s Committee of Hanoi has just issued a decision to open the “Binh Than Spring Book Street 2016”, which will last from February 10th to 15th or from Lunar January 3rd to 8th.
Accordingly, the display will be held along Le Thach Street, Hoan Kiem district, serving as a cultural get-together for readers of the capital city during the Lunar New Year or Tet festival.

With 20 display booths, the street will be divided into two themes of display, namely “Welcoming the Party - Welcoming Spring” and “Thang Long – Hanoi”, promising to give readers a chance to get access to various different types of books. Publishers at the event will also offer interesting gifts for the Tet holiday.
The “Welcoming the Party – Welcoming Spring” section will feature books introducing achievements of the revolutionary cause, the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, socio-economic development of the country, and more.
As for the “Thang Long – Hanoi” section, readers may find books and publications introducing the tradition, culture, history and the construction and development of Thang Long – Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
During the display, readers may have exchanges with writers and receive calligraphic words free of charge, enjoy tea-making performances and tea in the space of “Calligraphy and Vietnamese Tea”, and other interesting activities.
