Run by the Spanish Embassy and entitled Eye on Spain, the festival features five films, divided into comedy, drama and thrillers, showcasing the cinematic creativity of the European country.
The highlight of the event is the world premiere of “Thi Mai”, the first Spanish feature film shot in Vietnam. The screening is scheduled to take place at 7 pm on October 18. The film is a classic tale of West-Meets-East with a hilarious Spanish-Vietnamese twist and a star-studded cast from both countries.
On the occasion, director of “Thi Mai” Patricia Ferreira and producer Larry Levene will speak about their filming process on location in Hanoi and Ha Long Bay.
