Photo exhibition on Uncle Ho and youths opens in Hanoi
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command held a photo exhibition, themed “Uncle Ho with youth,” on March 23 to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU).
The event saw the participation of Major General Bui Hai Son, Acting Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board; Colonel Dinh Quoc Hung, Political Commissar of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command; delegates from the Military Youth Board, the Army Women’s Board, the Defense Trade Union Board, the HCYU Central Committee, etc.; and other youth union members from agencies and units of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command.
The exhibition introduces the precious documents and photos featuring the great love of President Ho Chi Minh for the Vietnamese youth.
According to the organizer, the exhibition also aims to disseminate information about emulation movements and significant political and social achievements through the historical stages of the country, as well as about the great contribution of the Vietnamese Armed Forces’ youths in general and youths of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command in particular to the nation.
Over 200 showcased photos are divided into three parts, namely President Ho Chi Minh in the cause of education and training for young generations; the role of youths in the national construction and defense cause; and the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command’s youths uphold their glorious traditions.
The exhibition will run until April 8 at no.1, Ong Ich Khiem street, Dien Bien ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.
