Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam’s human rights achievements
PANO – About 300 photos and archival records featuring Vietnam’s achievements in ensuring and promoting human rights are on display at an exhibition in Da Lat city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.
The event hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications from Dec. 18 to 23.

The exhibits, with the narration in both the Vietnamese and English languages, are divided into three periods, namely the period of Vietnam’s feudal dynasties, the period of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam before the Doi Moi (Renewal) process in 1986, and the period from the Doi Moi to the present.
They are classified into categories of fundamental rights, including civil and political rights; economic, social and cultural rights; social rights for vulnerable groups; and international cooperation on human rights.
At the event, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao affirmed that in recent years, Vietnam has gained significant achievements in protecting and promoting human rights.
