PANO – More than 100 professional and amateur photographers have taken part in the seven-month long photo contest, “Vietnam-US relations through Vietnamese photographers’ lens”, announced President of the Vietnam-US Friendship Organization Nguyen Tam Chien on May 15th in Hanoi.
More than 2,000 entries focus on politics, diplomacy, culture, society, landscapes, and the nature of the US.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on July 3rd in Hanoi.
100 awarded works and outstanding ones will be shown at an exhibition from July 3rd to 14th in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Washington D.C.
The contest is part of activities celebrating the 20th anniversary of the normalisation of Vietnam-US diplomatic relations.
