National Television Festival to be held on digital platform
PANO - The 2020 National Television Festival, the 40th of its kind, will take place from December 13-16 in Ninh Binh province on a digital platform, as revealed by the festival’s organizer recently.
The organizers announced the virtual form of the festival following the Prime Minister’s dispatch on enhancing COVID-19 prevention and control.

Specifically, the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony will be broadcast live on the Vietnam Television’s Channel 1 (VTV1) as well as live-streamed on Vietnam Television digital platforms on December 16.
During the festival, apart from a photo exhibition, there will be three seminars entitled “Newsroom convergence,” “Experience in disseminating information related to COVID-19 prevention and control,” and “Improving the quality of ethnic language TV programs.”
Currently, the organizer is judging nine TV categories, including children’s show, documentary, reportage, science program, talk show, ethnic language program, music and dance programs, stage and TV films.
