Delegates at the event

Attending the event were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang; Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang; and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung.

The concert celebrated the 33rd Diplomatic Conference and a plenary session on strengthening coordination among the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in carrying out key and regular tasks. It also marked the upcoming 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day on September 2 (1945–2026).

The “Melodies of the Fatherland” concert brings together artists from various performing arts organizations.

At the “Melodies of the Fatherland” concert, audiences enjoyed renowned Vietnamese musical works as well as several Russian songs and instrumental pieces celebrating love for the Fatherland and aspirations for peace. Music became a means of dialogue between past and present, tradition and modernity, and national identity and the universal language of symphonic art.

Performances at the concert

The program affirmed the importance of coordination and close ties among the forces involved in building and defending the Fatherland. It also conveyed the image of a peace-loving, humane, and internationally integrated Vietnam that is advancing strongly while firmly maintaining the pillars of national defense, security, and foreign affairs.
