PANO – Japanese Culture Days in Da Lat was officially kicked off on December 24th in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, as part of activities in "Da Lat-colors of winter" festival from December 23rd to 27th.

At the opening ceremony, artisan Suzuki Chiharu impressed the visitors with performance of Japanese art of flower arrangement, Ikebana, and showed them how to arrange flowers with Ikebana style.

The event also includes an exhibition introducing 45 Japanese sophisticated dolls of different themes, such mikados, princes, princesses, girls, brides and Kokeshi and a film screening program of Japanese classic films, such as Psychic School War, Tenchi-The Samurai Astronomer, Mai Mai Miracle, Robo-G., at April 3rd Theatre.

Organised by Lam Dong provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event aims to introduce Japan’s special cultural features to Vietnamese visitors, making contributions to boosting Vietnam-Japan friendship.
