Accordingly, the “I love Vietnam Fatherland 2023” journey runs until July 24, with the participation of more than 100 outstanding members of the city’s young pioneer organization.

During the journey, participants will visit historical relic sites in the capital of Hanoi and Nghe An province.

In Hanoi, the delegates will tour the K9 - Da Chong historic relic site, the house of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the Presidential Palace, Uncle Ho’s Stilt House, the One Pillar Pagoda, President Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the Temple of Literature, to name but a few.

Meanwhile in Nghe An, delegates will have an opportunity to offer incense at the grave of Ms. Hoang Thi Loan (mother of President Ho Chi Minh), and pay visits to Uncle Ho’s home villages, the memorial area of the late Secretary General Le Hong Phong, and the house in dedication to martyrs Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Le Thi Bach Cat, as well as join other meaningful activities.

According to Pham Thi Thao Linh from Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union chapter, the journey is seen as a gift of the city’s leader for members of Young Pioneer Organization and students with excellent academic results and active contribution to activities of the city’s Young Pioneer Organization.

Passing through 18 provinces and cities across the country by train, the journey contributes to arousing their national pride and patriotism, as well as gives them a better understanding the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh and glorious traditions of the city’s Youth Union Chapter and Young Pioneer Organization, she underlined.

After the launching ceremony, participants moved to Saigon station in district 3 to board the train to Hanoi.
