PANO – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed a series of cultural activities to mark the Vietnam’s Culture Heritage Day - Nov 23rd.
This year, the festival will be held on Nov 23-24, at the Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups in Son Tay, Hanoi to honour the unique cultural features of the Cham, an ethnic minority among the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups living under the same roof of Vietnam.
These cultural activities will include a ceremony to inaugurate the Cham Tower site and rite to open the Cham Tower at Culture - Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic groups; Kate festival; a ceremony to mark the mature age of girls of the Cham Ba Ni ethnic group in Ninh Thuan province and traditional weddings of the Cham ethnic group in An Giang province.
Additionally, an exhibition to display artefacts, specialties, cultural products of the Cham and other Vietnamese ethnic groups in the integration and development process will be held during the event.
