PANO – The Hanoi Run for Children 2015 will get underway at the Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi on December 6th, announced the organizing panel at a press conference on November 24th.
It is expected to draw thousands of people, with the aim to raise funds for children with cancer and congenital heart diseases, and to enhance the community's responsibility for and awareness of providing healthcare to people in Vietnam.
Accordingly, all profits from activities under the run’s framework will be sent to the National Hospital of Pediatrics, Hanoi Heart Hospital, and the Heart Beat Vietnam program to provide cancer treatment and heart surgery for sick children.
This is an annual event jointly organized by the Canadian Embassy to Vietnam, the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Association, the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, the Manulife Vietnam Group and the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel.
