PANO – 100 photos taken by photographer Pham Hoai Thanh are on display at an exhibition, themed “Life story”, commenced in Hanoi on December 20th.

The photos vividly depict the lives, courage, and aspiration to overcome difficulties in life of ten disabled finalists in the “Beauty of Crescent Moons” festival in particular, and the disabled in general. 

The three-day event aims to help viewers learn more about lives and stamina of the disabled, so they will be more empathetic to people with disabilities, and carry out practical activities to help them integrate into the community.

Photographer Pham Hoai Thanh said that the disabled in the contest not only shared their own stories, but also raised urgent social issues and also offered solutions to the problems.
