The competition aimed to provide a useful and healthy playground for both Vietnamese and Chinese students studying in Hai Phong to showcase their knowledge about the culture and people of Vietnam and China.

Pham Ngoc Dien, General Secretary of the municipal Vietnam-China Friendship Association, highlighted the enthusiastic participation in the competition over the past two months, with the involvement from students, youth members, and various organizations, including schools and language centers across the city.

The organizing board received 380 works in both Vietnamese and Chinese languages, including 356 essays and 24 video clips from over 300 participants.

At the ceremony, the organizing board presented 17 awards to outstanding works.
