The most impressive feature of this world heritage site is four domed gates constructed from stone blocks looking to the 4 directions, and called the South, North, West and East. Those large limestone blocks of 24 tons were closely attached together by a special adhesive made of molasses.

Over 600 years, the Citadel of the Ho Dynasty still has been there, challenging the time and weather, which surprises all visitors.
