PANO – “Swing for the kids 2013”, the seventh charity golf tournament for Vietnamese children, will take place at noon on April 21st at Kings' Island Golf Resort in Son Tay, Hanoi.

Jointly organized by the Investment Newspaper, Foreign Investment Department and BRG-SeABank Corporation, the tournament is expected to draw the participation of around 140 golfers including diplomats and representatives of international organizations in Hanoi, and the business community.

Over the past six years, with donations from “Swing for the kids”, more than 6,000 scholarships have been granted to poor students. In addition, many schools in nearly 40 provinces and cities across the country were provided with necessary facilities, according to Nguyen Anh Tuan, Editor-In-Chief of Investment Newspaper.

On the occasion, the organizing panel granted two full scholarships, worth VND 10 million each, to Dinh Van Hoc, a student at the National Economics University, and Nguyen Thi Phuong, a student at the Hanoi School of Public Health.
